Achieved milestone matches the month of January, the highest index of the historical series; Libra collaborated, in the period, with 7,400 bpd to the Federal Government
The Federal Government was entitled in February 2022, to 17,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) in production sharing agreements (CPP) in the Pre-Salt Polygon The milestone is the same of January, which at the time, was the highest ever recorded in the historical series since 2017. Information can be found in the Monthly Bulletin of Production Sharing Agreements disclosed this Tuesday (19th) by Pré-Sal Petróleo (PPSA).
Of the 17,000 daily barrels composing the profit oil of the Federal Government in February, 7,400 bpd came from CPP of Libra, in Mero Development Area; 5,700 bpd from CPP of Búzios; and 4,100 bpd from CPP of the Surrounding Area of Sapinhoá. In CPP of Tartaruga Verde (Southwest), the exceeding oil of the Federal Government is still intended to "Settle Accounts" with the operator as established by the Agreement to Individualize Production (AIP).
Total average production under sharing regime in February was of 466,000 bpd. Búzios had the largest production, with 406,000 bpd, followed by Mero Development Area, with 48,000 bpd. Surrounding Area of Sapinhoá and Tartaruga Verde (Southwest) completed the daily production with 7,000 and 5,000 bpd, respectively.
From the beginning of the historical series, the accrued portion of oil for the Federal Government is of 13 million barrels. The total production, however, in the same period, sums 138 million barrels of oil.
Natural gas
In addition to oil, the Federal Government also benefitted from a surplus of natural gas. In average, 113,000 m³/day were produced, where 103,000 m³/day corresponds to the Surrounding Area of Sapinhoá and 10,000 m³/day to Búzios. In Tartaruga Verde (Southwest), the exceeding gas of the Federal Government is still intended to "Settle Accounts" with the operator as determined by the AIP. Mero, as of now, has no expected trading of natural gas.
Total daily average production of the three agreements, in February, with commercial exploit, was of 945,000 m³/day, from which 739,000 m³/day comes from Búzios; 172 m³/day from the Surrounding Area of Sapinhoá and 34,000 m³/day from Tartaruga Verde (Southwest). In comparison to January 2022, the volume of available gas presented an increase of 12% due to normalization of the operation in Búzios, after unavailability of the Dehydration Unit on board P-74.
Since 2017, beginning of the historical series, the surplus in natural gas of the Federal Government is of 109 million cubic meters. Accrued production, in the same period, totalizes 441 million cubic meters of natural gas with commercial exploit.
