The Pré-Sal Petróleo Management Board has appointed this Thursday, 28, engineer Osmond Coelho Junior as the Pré-Sal Petróleo Contract Management Officer for a two-year tenure. The engineer began his career in 1981 on Petrobras. He works since 2016 as a General Manager for Concept and Implementation of the Libra field Projects. Osmond will start working at Pré-Sal Petróleo on December 2. With Osmond''s appointment, the board of directors of Pré-Sal Petróleo is now complete, with Eduardo Gerk as chairman, Paulo Carvalho as Head of the Technical and Supervisory Board and Samir Awad at the Management, Control and Finance Board.
Osmond has a degree in Construction Engineering at IME (1980), with a post-graduation in Petroleum Engineering at Universidade Petrobras (1983), Economic Engineering at UFRJ (1986) and Marketing and Advertisement at ESPM-RJ (1988). He has an MBA in Asset Management at FGV-RJ (2004) and Advanced Management at COPPE-AD (1998 and 2007). He has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He also worked as a Gas and Energy Investment Executive Manager, North America, Africa and Eurasia Executive Manager, Drills and Production Units Executive Manager, Executive Manager for Production Development Projects and General Manager for Pre-Salt Production Development.
