Director, Paulo Carvalho and the president of Stefanini-Scala, José Carlos Pires
By the middle of next year, Pré-Sal Petróleo will
begin to use the Production Sharing Expenses Management System (SGPP - Sistema
de Gestão de Gastos de Partilha de Produção), a digital platform which will
manage the data of all the projects under the sharing regime in the pre-salt.
The system, budgeted at R$ 14.6 million, will be developed and implemented by
the company, Stefanini-Scala, winner of the tender promoted by Pré-Sal Petróleo
and which included the participation of nine information technology companies
that work with the "Software As A Service?” mode (SaaS). The contract was
signed on Monday, the 11th.
According to Paulo Carvalho, Technical and Supervisory director of Pré-Sal
Petróleo, the new system is going to contribute to the digitalization of the
company. Currently routine tasks will be performed by the SGPP, such as the
process of recognition of costs of each one of the projects (such as the
purchase of equipment, provision of services, labor, drilling costs),
monitoring of the operations and of the production of each consortium and
verification of stock of oil and volume of natural gas of each field operated
under the sharing regime.
"Today we are administrators of ten sharing contracts and we represent the Federal Government in 23 production unitization agreements. And we expect our activities to
grow. These projects generate an enormous volume of data and the new system
will allow Pré-Sal Petróleo to perform its activities with greater agility and
efficiency", explained Carvalho.
The operator companies of the consortia will directly feed the data into the
system, safeguarding the security and integrity of the information of each
project. Through the platform, Pré-Sal Petróleo will be able to simultaneously
monitor the performance of each consortium and calculate the volumes of
production of oil and gas belonging to the Federal Government. In the future, it will be
possible to make comparisons of costs practiced for each project phase.
