Publication is one of the most complete ever made about the Brazilian pre-salt
Pré-Sal Petróleo (PPSA) collaborated in two chapters of the Memoir 124 - The Supergiant Lower Cretaceous Pre-Salt Petroleum Systems of the Santos Basin, Brazil, published by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG).
Flavio Fernandes, Geoscience Coordinator, was the co-author, along with geologist Dolores Carvalho, of chapter five of the study, titled: "Pre-Salt Depositional System: Sedimentology, Diagenesis, and Reservoir Quality of the Barra Velha Formation, as a Result of the Santos Basin Tectono-Stratigraphic Development". On the other hand, the 19th chapter (The Procedure for Unitization in the Pre-Salt Polygon, Southeast Brazil) was written by Claudio Kuyven, Project and Contract Management Coordinator, Hércules Tadeu Ferreira da Silva, former Contract Management Officer and Ricardo Loureiro, Contract Executive Manager.
